en.Wedoany.com Reported - At 7:33 a.m. Beijing time on July 24, 2026, China successfully launched five satellites—Tianyi-48, Gande-1 01, Xiguang-2 03, Jitianxing A-04, and Yinglong Fengguang-1—using the Lijian-1 Y15 carrier rocket from the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Experimental Zone. The satellites entered their predetermined orbits smoothly, marking a complete success for the mission. This was the 15th flight of the Lijian-1 carrier rocket and the 16th launch of the Lijian series of carrier rockets.
This mission adopted a multi-satellite deployment layout, with each of the five satellites having distinct characteristics. Gande-1 01 is China's first dedicated commercial satellite for space debris monitoring, Xiguang-2 03 carries an infrared intelligent remote sensing payload, Jitianxing A-04 focuses on intelligent computing applications, and Yinglong Fengguang-1 serves the commercial meteorological field. This diverse payload configuration reflects the Lijian-1's adaptability to the small satellite launch market.
Shi Xiaoning, chief designer of the Lijian-1, stated that in response to the explosive growth of downstream applications such as satellite internet, commercial remote sensing, and space computing power, the Lijian-1 is continuously enhancing its mission adaptability. It is developing a modular rapid integration system, standardizing and upgrading the satellite-rocket interface, enabling rapid customization of satellite-rocket layouts and separation deployment plans within a short cycle to meet various differentiated launch requirements.
Currently, applications such as satellite internet, commercial remote sensing, navigation enhancement, and space computing power are developing rapidly, with global medium and low Earth orbit satellites entering a phase of large-scale deployment. The Lijian-1 carrier rocket is focusing on the small satellite launch market, precisely matching batch networking and rapid replenishment missions, and can sustainably provide high-reliability, cost-effective ton-class shuttle launch services.
