China's Long March 12 carrier rocket successfully launches the Satellite Internet Low-Earth-Orbit Group 25 satellites

en.Wedoany.com Reported - At 8:32 on September 17, the Long March 12 carrier rocket ignited and lifted off from the Hainan Commercial Spacecraft Launch Site, and subsequently successfully sent the Satellite Internet Low-Earth-Orbit Group 25 satellites into their predetermined orbit. The launch mission was a complete success.

This launch was provided with launch services by China Commercial Rocket Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, acting as the general contractor.

The Long March 12 carrier rocket is a new-generation cryogenic liquid-propellant carrier rocket developed under the overall leadership of the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and is also China's first carrier rocket with a 4-meter-class diameter and a single-core stage. The rocket has a total length of approximately 62 meters, a payload capacity of no less than 6 tonnes to a 700-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit, and can be equipped with fairings of 4.2-meter and 5.2-meter diameter configurations according to mission requirements, supporting single-satellite and multi-satellite launch missions to different orbits.
