en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Port Authority of Ceuta has launched a tender for the first phase of renovation works at the Cañonero Dato dock ferry berths, with a tender budget of €1.6742 million including taxes and a planned construction period of 12 months. The project is currently in the tender phase, with no contractor selected or construction commenced.
The works primarily aim to repair damage to the dock structure and ancillary facilities, including filling voids in masonry structures, repointing joints, repairing the dock apron, sealing joints in concrete blocks, and addressing issues such as exposed, corroded reinforcement and spalling of concrete cover. The project will also repair cracks in concrete pavements and replace or repair mooring facilities, drainage wells, and drainage grilles.
The Cañonero Dato dock has a total of four ferry berths. The tender documents require that at least three of these berths remain operational during construction to minimize the impact on passenger ferry berthing and vehicle loading/unloading.
The estimated contract value of the project, excluding taxes, is €1.522 million. After including local production, services, and import taxes in Ceuta, the tender budget amounts to €1.6742 million. Companies may submit bids until August 12, 2026.
