European Energy Divests Polish Wind Portfolio

Wedoany.com Report-May 28, European Energy, a renewable energy company, has finalized the sale of an 83.5-megawatt wind portfolio in Poland to Enea Nowa Energia, a subsidiary of the Polish energy utility Enea Group. The transaction includes six operational wind farms located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the northwest of Poland.

The deal transfers full ownership of EE Pommern GmbH, which indirectly owns five wind farms—Grzmiąca, Białogard 1, Kołobrzeg, Drawsko 2, and Siemyśl—with a combined capacity of 44.7 megawatts. Additionally, Enea Nowa Energia will acquire complete ownership of EE Liskowo sp. z o.o., which operates the 38.8-megawatt Liskowo wind farm. These facilities, commissioned between 2021 and 2023, utilize wind turbines from Siemens Gamesa, GE, and Nordex.

“This divestment represents a significant milestone in our long-term strategy for Poland,” said Olga Sypula, country manager for Poland at European Energy. “Our commitment extends beyond development – we are contributing to a sustainable energy future while supporting local communities and infrastructure.”
