en.Wedoany.com Reported - Prestige Group, a leading Indian real estate developer, has launched a comprehensive reconstruction of Brunton Road near MG Road in Bengaluru's central business district, with a project investment of approximately ₹30 million. The upgrade of this 800-meter key corridor employs sustainable construction methods, including plastic-modified asphalt. The project is being implemented by Prestige Group in coordination with Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), and is expected to be completed within three to four weeks.

The core feature of the reconstruction is the use of plastic-modified asphalt. This process incorporates treated recycled shredded plastic into the asphalt mix, enhancing road durability, improving resistance to water damage and cracking, while simultaneously reducing the total plastic waste in municipal landfills.

As the site of Prestige Falcon Towers, Prestige Group's corporate headquarters, and the Rezwan Razack Indian Currency Museum, the upgrade of Brunton Road demonstrates how public-private partnerships can directly improve municipal infrastructure. V. Gopal, Executive Director of Projects and Planning at Prestige Group, stated that the company's responsibility extends beyond property boundaries, with a commitment to creating safer, greener, and more livable public spaces across Bengaluru.
