TurkStream is a dual-line export gas pipeline connecting Russia and Turkey, with a designed annual transmission capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters, laid along the seabed of the Black Sea. Each line of the system has a designed transmission capacity of 15.75 billion cubic meters of raw gas, primarily supplying the Turkish market and transiting through Turkish territory to supply southern and eastern European countries.
Based on the full-year results of 2025, Russia's Gazprom increased its exports to Europe via this system by 8%, reaching 18.06 billion cubic meters. The company stated that the growth stemmed from new agreements signed with consumers and the optimization of daily supply schedules. This was reported by Interfax.
