en.Wedoany.com Reported - Third-party logistics provider Flash Freight has completed the expansion of its warehouse in Spartanburg, S.C., increasing the facility's total capacity to 160,000 square feet.

The company said the additional space will primarily support growth in food and nutritional supplement logistics, apparel and clothing distribution, and cross-border freight operations between the Southeastern United States and Ontario, Canada.

The expansion is part of Flash Freight's strategy to establish a presence in the U.S. logistics market. The company had previously set up a warehouse in Spartanburg and launched daily less-than-truckload service connecting the Greenville-Spartanburg-Charlotte region with Ontario.

Tony Gerber, president of Flash Freight Systems, said Spartanburg has fully validated the company's decision to choose it as the starting point for entering the U.S. market. With the expansion complete, the company will have greater capacity to support customers growing alongside it in the food, nutritional supplement, and apparel sectors, while continuing to provide cross-border logistics solutions for shippers on both sides of the border.

Located on one of the busiest logistics corridors in the Southeastern United States, the warehouse offers warehousing, cross-docking, cargo consolidation, and regional distribution services, while also supporting cross-border freight operations between Canada and the United States.

Flash Freight stated that its warehousing services encompass storage, picking and packing, labeling, quality inspection, container unloading, packaging and rework, as well as other value-added logistics services integrated with its transportation network.
