India's Evren Signs 750 MW Power Purchase Agreement with NTPC

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Evren has signed a 750 MW power purchase agreement (PPA) with India's National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) for a hybrid renewable energy project located in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan, comprising solar, wind, and battery energy storage (BESS) components.

Evren stated that this agreement marks a key milestone in the company's growth trajectory and is one of India's largest renewable energy projects by installed capacity. The agreement elevates Evren's renewable energy portfolio in India to a pipeline of 11 GW, with over 3.5 GW currently under construction across solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects.

Once operational, the project is expected to generate 2.5 billion kWh of clean energy annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.8 million tons per year. Evren CEO Suman Kumar stated that securing this 750 MW PPA reflects the company's long-standing expertise in scale, quality, and execution. With an 11 GW pipeline portfolio, including over 3.5 GW of solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects under construction, the company has the capability to deliver reliable, sustainable power at scale and serve as a long-term partner for customers.
