Australian firm Perpetual hires GreenMet to advance Nevada tungsten project

en.Wedoany.com Reported - ASX-listed Perpetual Resources (ASX:PEC) has engaged Washington, D.C.-based strategic advisory firm GreenMet to support the advancement of its Nevada Scheelite Tungsten Project.

GreenMet focuses on critical minerals companies across the United States, offering government relations, strategic policy advisory, grant programs, and financing solutions.

The collaboration aims to position the Nevada Scheelite Tungsten Project within U.S. government policy frameworks designed to strengthen domestic critical mineral supply chains. Perpetual Resources stated that GreenMet will assist the project in accessing various federal and state-level programs, covering potential grants, financing, strategic partnerships, and supply chain initiatives.

Specific work scopes include: assessing applicable grant and financing pathways, developing stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies, and supporting coordination with strategic institutions.

GreenMet is led by Drew Horn, former Executive Director of the White House National Space Council, who has also served as a senior official at both the U.S. Department of Energy and the Department of Defence.

Perpetual Resources Executive Chairman Julian Babarczy said the appointment marks an important step in enhancing the project's strategic value. He noted that U.S. emphasis on secure domestic supplies of critical minerals continues to grow, and the company believes the Nevada Scheelite Tungsten Project is well-positioned to participate; GreenMet's deep government and industry networks, coupled with its critical minerals expertise, will strengthen stakeholder engagement capabilities as the project advances.

Perpetual Resources recently executed a binding agreement to acquire the historically significant Nevada Scheelite Tungsten Project. The asset, located in Mineral County, Nevada, is a brownfield site with historical mining, drilling, and processing infrastructure remaining on site.
