Faresin appoints Haulotte Australia as exclusive telehandler distributor

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Italian telehandler manufacturer Faresin has appointed Haulotte Australia as the exclusive distributor for the Australian construction and rental markets, covering the full product range from compact electric models to heavy-duty high-capacity units.

Founded in 1999, Haulotte Australia was Haulotte's first subsidiary outside Europe. Headquartered in Dandenong South, near Melbourne, Victoria, it has branches near Sydney in New South Wales, Brisbane in Queensland, and Perth in Western Australia, as well as a facility near Hamilton in New Zealand.

In a joint statement, the two companies said the distribution agreement combines Faresin's engineering and innovation strengths in telehandler design with Haulotte's established distribution and product support network in the Australian rental market, thereby providing comprehensive support for Faresin telehandlers across the region.

Giulia Faresin, Vice President of Faresin, said that Haulotte's alignment with Faresin's philosophy on innovation and quality will ensure customers receive cutting-edge solutions backed by after-sales service.

Keith Clarke, General Manager of Haulotte Australia, added that Faresin is a premium brand that integrates well with Haulotte's product line. With strong support from a dedicated working group at the Faresin factory, Haulotte looks forward to expanding its portfolio through this partnership while continuing to support all customers who have already purchased Faresin telehandlers. He also stated that Haulotte is ready to serve the telehandler market with innovative products that will integrate seamlessly with its existing range.

This is not the first collaboration between Faresin and Haulotte. At the end of 2002, the two companies formed a joint venture to produce telehandlers, but the venture never truly took off and lasted only until 2006. Haulotte subsequently had no telehandler offering until 2007, when production began at its new plants in Spain and Romania. Haulotte Australia exited the telehandler market in 2019; for Haulotte as a whole, the business gradually wound down from 2019, with remaining inventory still being sold through 2021.
