Kal Tire will provide sales, service, calibration, training, and operational support for Transcale weighing and volume scanning systems across Canada, as well as custom mobile installations, payload studies, and integration support, helping mining customers turn payload, volume, and density data into actionable decision-making insights.
Christian Erdelyi, Technical Services Director of Kal Tire's Mining Tire Group, noted that mining companies' demand for accurate and reliable payload data continues to grow. Kal Tire has incorporated Transcale technology into its productivity services for years and understands how payload data impacts tire performance, truck productivity, and fleet management decisions. This agreement enables the company to offer a complete solution spanning equipment supply, operational support, and data-to-insight application.
Kal Tire already has considerable experience operating Transcale equipment, having previously conducted weighing and volume studies at mine sites for applications such as brake testing, payload calibration, density verification, and shovel system calibration. The company currently conducts 10 to 15 site studies annually in Canada and recently delivered a mobile system equipped with volume scanning technology and a Transcale Sealed AS700 scale to an oil sands operation. The new distribution agreement extends this capability across the full equipment lifecycle, covering everything from selection and installation to operation, maintenance, and performance analysis.

Transcale solutions have over three decades of industry application experience, with payload measurement accuracy of approximately ±1%.
