Australian Firm Balco Signs Logistics Agreement with DP World for Over 10,000 TEUs Annually

The partnership will support the transportation of more than 10,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of forage products annually through dedicated road transport, equipment management, and integrated logistics services, enhancing the efficiency and stability of Australia's forage export supply chain.

The agreement includes investment in dedicated transport assets, the establishment of a dedicated customer management team, and end-to-end road transport and supply chain coordination services provided by DP World, covering Balco's regional production bases through to export ports and international markets. Both parties stated that the collaboration will leverage DP World's logistics network across Australia to optimize the transportation process of forage products from origin to destination ports, strengthening supply chain resilience.

Balco Australia is one of Australia's leading exporters of premium forage products, providing fiber solutions to the global ruminant livestock market. This new agreement is designed to support Balco's plans to expand into international markets, enhancing its operational capabilities and supply reliability for overseas customers.
