en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 10, Canadian mineral exploration company BRS Resources announced the preliminary assay results from the first batch of rock samples from its SilverGold Mountain project in Mexico. A total of 16 rock samples were collected during this exploration program, with the highest gold grade reaching 2.06 g/t, the highest silver grade reaching 76.3 g/t, and copper grades peaking at 1.20%.

Multiple adjacent samples returned gold grades exceeding 0.95 g/t and silver grades exceeding 50 g/t, indicating a certain degree of continuity of precious metal mineralization within the sampling area. The assays also identified lead and zinc mineralization, with some samples exceeding the laboratory's 1.0% detection limit for lead and zinc; the project team will conduct further analysis to determine the specific values.
The samples were selectively collected by exploration personnel in July 2026 from surface outcrops and mineralized material identified in the field, and were subsequently sent to Skyline Assayers & Laboratories, which holds ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 certifications, for analysis. Gold was analyzed using fire assay and atomic absorption methods, while multi-element analysis was completed using four-acid and aqua regia digestion combined with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Quality control procedures included certified reference materials and duplicate sample analysis.
As this round of samples represents selective surface sampling at the exploration stage, the assay values do not reflect the overall mineralization level of the project. The project has not yet established a mineral resource estimate compliant with Canadian NI 43-101 standards, and the scale, continuity, strike, and resource potential of the identified mineralization remain subject to further determination through geological mapping, additional sampling, and drilling.
SilverGold Mountain is located in the Mulatos gold belt in Mexico, with a related mineral concession area of 1,053 hectares. BRS Resources signed a concession acquisition agreement for the project on August 5, planning to invest US$5 million in exploration and development over five years, with an option to pay an additional US$5 million at the end of the fifth year to acquire a 75% interest in the project; completion of the transaction remains subject to obtaining necessary regulatory approvals.
BRS Resources is advancing a drilling permit application through its Mexican subsidiary, Canson Mining Group, and plans to conduct drill testing on priority target areas by the end of 2026. Subsequent work also includes drone-based magnetic surveys, 3D inversion modeling, and the preparation of an NI 43-101 technical report.
