en.Wedoany.com Reported - Peru's Private Investment Promotion Agency (ProInversión) is advancing the public-private partnership (PPP) tender for the operation and maintenance of the Lima Convention Center (CCL), with the award expected to be completed in the first half of September. The project is currently in the transaction stage, with a 15-year contract term, and the award will mark a key milestone in the competitive process promoted by the agency.

Three companies have made it to the final round: GL EVENTS VENUES, Consorcio Centro de Convenciones-Exposistemas, and GRUPO HEROICA S.A.S. All of the aforementioned participants have passed the technical, legal, and financial evaluations stipulated in the tender and have been qualified to bid.
The project is valued at $105 million and covers the operation, development, preservation, and comprehensive maintenance of the convention center, as well as facility management, annual plan preparation, and the organization and promotion of events suited to the facility's conditions.
Located in the San Borja district, the Lima Convention Center is one of Peru's primary public assets for conventions and large-scale events, and a strategic piece of infrastructure for Lima's economic, cultural, and tourism development. The center features 18 multi-purpose meeting rooms, a column-free plenary hall of approximately 5,000 square meters, 374 parking spaces, three kitchens, and cafeterias, with a capacity for nearly 10,000 people.
With the introduction of professional management, the convention center will enhance its capacity to host conventions, conferences, expositions, corporate meetings, and international events, while also driving the development of supporting services such as hotels, catering, transportation, and commerce.
