en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Ulyanovsk-based enterprise Forsh (Форш) has completed the expansion of production capacity for large molds, stamping dies, and specialized process tooling, with its products used in the production of bumpers, instrument panels, and door trim panels for AvtoVAZ (АвтоВАЗ), KamAZ (КамАЗ), GAZ (ГАЗ), and UAZ (УАЗ).

The total investment in this expansion amounts to RUB 224 million, of which RUB 112 million was provided by the Industrial Development Fund (FRP) in the form of a concessional loan under the "Development Projects" program. The loan funds were used to purchase a machining center capable of processing parts up to 11 meters in length and 30 tons in weight, with a machining accuracy of 0.025 mm. Following the commissioning of the new equipment, the plant's production capacity is expected to increase by 10%, with an anticipated output of at least 30 large-scale process tooling sets per year.

Dmitry Bobnev, General Director of Forsh, stated that the loan provided by the Industrial Development Fund has become a growth driver for the enterprise. The company has not only expanded its production capacity to meet part of the domestic demand for process tooling in the automotive industry but has also reached a new level within the framework of the national strategic task of supporting domestic aircraft manufacturing. The new equipment is currently operating around the clock.

According to the company's assessment, imported products, primarily from China and Turkey, currently account for approximately 75% of the Russian market for large-scale process tooling in mechanical engineering. The company plans to strengthen its position in this market segment.
