en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 14, Antares Metals released the results of its first reverse circulation drilling at the Conglomerate Creek target in Queensland, Australia. The drilling was completed in June 2026, with a total of 6 holes and 780 meters drilled, all of which intersected copper mineralization. Among them, hole ADC002 returned a 4-meter interval grading 0.81% copper from 84 meters downhole.
Conglomerate Creek is part of the Mount Isa North copper-uranium project, wholly owned by Antares Metals. This drilling campaign focused on Target 2, primarily testing the mineralized breccia stockwork and gravity anomaly delineated at surface. The target lies within an intrusive complex covering approximately 2 km × 2.5 km, where 7 geophysical anomalies have been identified, and only one of them was tested by underground drilling in this round.
Drilling results show that the deepest hole, ADC001, reached 288 meters and returned a 1-meter interval grading 0.106% copper from 169 meters, as well as an 8-meter interval grading 0.0651% copper from 176 meters. Hole ADC003 returned a 4-meter interval grading 0.0856% copper from 44 meters, including a 1-meter interval grading 0.131% copper. Copper grades in the remaining holes ranged from 504 ppm to 675 ppm. All reported intervals are downhole lengths, and true widths of the mineralization have not yet been determined.
Drilling at Target 2 intersected the same quartz vein system previously identified through surface mapping and sampling. At Target 5, located to the north, surface rock chip samples returned copper grades of up to 22.0%. Antares Metals plans to conduct surface electrical geophysical surveys to further define zones of concentrated mineralization, which will guide subsequent reverse circulation drilling at Target 5 and other anomalous areas.
