en.Wedoany.com Reported - Chinese energy storage system manufacturer EcoFlow has launched two home energy storage products, the Stream 5000 and Stream AC 5000, for the UK market, now available for pre-order. The company had previously released this series in Europe, and the UK launch further expands its product portfolio.

Existing models such as the Stream Ultra remain on sale, and the new UK product lineup includes 5 kWh batteries featuring the Stream 5000 and Stream AC 5000, along with a 5 kWh expansion battery option. According to EcoFlow, the Stream 5000 can deliver up to 3 kW of output power when paired with solar generation or expansion batteries.

The EcoFlow Stream 5000 has a maximum charging power of 4 kW and a maximum discharging power of 3 kW. The host battery of the modular system offers a charge/discharge power of 2.5 kW and a rated AC charging input of 3 kW. This model is equipped with four maximum power point trackers (MPPT) and can handle a solar input power of 5 kW (distributed across four 1.25 kW inputs), with a maximum solar input voltage of 60 V. For AC output, the off-grid rated output is 3 kW, while the grid-tied AC output is 800 W/3 kW. The Stream 5000 has a net weight of 45.4 kg, dimensions of 295 mm x 489 mm x 298 mm, and comes with a 10-year warranty.

The specifications of the EcoFlow Stream AC 5000 are nearly identical to those of the Stream 5000, with the main differences being that it does not offer an inverter for solar charging, has a maximum charging power of 3 kW instead of 4 kW, and is slightly lighter at 44.6 kg. Both models have a cycle life of 10,000 cycles. According to the manufacturer, all products in the EcoFlow 5000 series feature low-temperature charging activation below 10°C, an IP65 protection rating, and a maximum noise specification of 30 dB.

EcoFlow emphasizes that the new Stream 5000 series can work in conjunction with its previous-generation Stream products to achieve an expandable capacity of up to 90 kWh. The series also offers a "local" mode that can operate without cloud control. The latest models are equipped with two pressure relief valves, safety mechanisms designed to handle exhaust gases generated during thermal runaway.

In terms of availability and pricing, the early bird price for the EcoFlow Stream 5000 is £1,599, while the Stream AC 5000 is priced at £1,499, with the early bird offer valid until October 7. The promotion on EcoFlow's UK website shows that paying £9.90 locks in the launch discount, saving £100.
