Spain Publishes 28 Energy Projects in July: 779 MW Solar PV, 991 MW Storage

en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Spanish Official State Gazette (BOE) published a series of administrative resolutions for renewable energy projects in July, covering solar PV, solar PV-wind hybrid, and solar PV-storage hybrid facilities, including procedures such as declarations of public interest, prior administrative authorization, construction administrative authorization, and environmental impact assessments.

The "El Tranco" solar PV plant (49.35 MW) and its transmission facilities, located in the municipalities of Lubrín and Antas in the province of Almería, promoted by Greenalia, have obtained a declaration of public interest.

Abio Power has submitted applications for prior administrative authorization, construction administrative authorization, declaration of public interest, project authorization for actions of specific public interest on non-urbanized land, and environmental impact assessment for the agrivoltaic plant "Planta Agrovoltaica L'Arrendament" on non-urbanized land in the municipality of Botarell, province of Tarragona. The plant has an installed capacity of 0.860 MW, with associated transmission facilities laid via 25 kV underground lines connecting to the municipality of les Borges del Camp.

Engie's "FV Monclues" hybrid solar PV plant, located on non-urbanized land in the municipality of La Granadella, Les Garrigues region, with an installed capacity of 11 MW, has obtained prior administrative authorization, construction authorization, and declaration of public interest for the project and its transmission facilities.

The "PS Moja" plant promoted by Eacom, located on non-urbanized land in the municipality of Olèrdola, l'Alt Penedès region, with an installed capacity of 2.97 MW, has obtained prior administrative authorization, construction administrative authorization, and declaration of public interest, together with its 25 kV underground transmission line.

Acciona's "Cristo Bailones" solar PV plant, located in the province of Ciudad Real, with an installed capacity of 35.125 MW, will be hybridized with the existing 42 MW Cristo Bailones wind farm. The environmental impact assessment statement for this hybrid project and part of its transmission facilities has been published.

Moeve has submitted the environmental impact report for the "PSFV Alíjar" project in the province of Cádiz. The project has an installed capacity of 25.99 MW, will be hybridized with the existing PE Alíjar II wind farm, and includes associated transmission facilities.

RWE Renewables has obtained declarations of public interest for two solar PV plants in the municipality of Cassà de la Selva, province of Girona: "PS Cassà 2" (5.28 MVA) and "PS Cassa 1" (1.41 MVA), both projects including associated transmission facilities.

Grupo Cobra has submitted a declaration of public interest application for the "PSF Ronda 5" solar PV plant in the municipalities of Teba and Cañete la Real, province of Málaga. The project has an installed capacity of 47.19 MW, with associated 30 kV high-voltage underground lines for connection to the SET Ronda Promotores FV substation (220/30 kV).

"Navabuena Solar," promoted by Grupo Cobra, is located in Villalba de los Alcores, La Mudarra, and Valladolid (province of Valladolid), with a peak power of 449.148 MW and an installed capacity of 424.710 MW. The project and its transmission facilities have obtained a declaration of public interest.

The "Cerezo Solar" solar PV plant promoted by TotalEnergies is located in the municipalities of Torres de la Alameda and Villalbilla, Community of Madrid. The plant has an installed capacity of 52.5 MW, and the modification of its transmission facilities has obtained prior administrative authorization and modified construction administrative authorization, and has been specifically declared to be of public interest.

Iberdrola has submitted applications for environmental impact assessment statement, prior administrative authorization, and construction administrative authorization for the "Revilla-Vallejera Hib" wind farm project. The wind farm has an installed capacity of 40.5 MW, located in the municipalities of Revilla Vallejera, Villamedianilla, and Vallejera in the province of Burgos, and Palenzuela and Villodrigo in the province of Palencia. It will be hybridized with the existing hybrid plant "FV Revilla-Vallejera" (44.199 MW) and the storage module "BESS hibridación FV Revilla-Vallejera," both located in the province of Burgos.

FRV has three storage projects published in the Gazette: "BESS Gaetana," located in the province of Badajoz, with an installed capacity of 108 MW, which will form a 180 MW hybrid facility with the 166.40 MW Gaetana solar PV plant, with prior administrative authorization applications submitted for the project and its transmission facilities; "Bess Aurea," located in the municipality of La Roca de la Sierra, province of Badajoz, with an installed capacity of 117.6 MW, intended for hybridization with the 171 MW Aurea solar PV plant, with prior administrative authorization and construction administrative authorization applications submitted; and "BESS Camarreal," located in the municipality of Camargo, with an installed capacity of 49.94 MW, with prior administrative authorization and construction administrative authorization applications submitted together with its transmission facilities.

Dargon Energy has submitted a declaration of public interest application for the "PHFV Castellet" storage plant (4.990 MW) on non-urbanized land in the municipality of L'Arboç, Baix Penedès region. The project includes a 25 kV underground line extending to the municipality of Castellet y la Gornal, Alt Penedès region, for connection with existing lines.

Solaria has submitted prior administrative authorization and construction administrative authorization applications for the "Agrupación Maira «Gamma»" battery storage module (45 MW) and its transmission facilities in the municipality of Briviesca, province of Burgos. The storage module will be accompanied by a 140.127 MW solar PV facility of the same name.

Bruc Energy has obtained prior administrative authorization and construction administrative authorization for several solar-storage hybrid projects in the province of Seville: the "Freya" battery storage module (39.6 MW) in Carmona, intended for hybridization with the existing 44 MW Freya solar PV plant; the "Artemisa" and "Elvisa" battery storage modules (39.6 MW each) in the municipality of Alcalá de Guadaíra, intended for hybridization with the existing 46.2 MW solar PV plants of the same names, respectively; and the "SES," "Jade," "Esmeralda," and "Heracles" battery storage modules (39.6 MW each), also in the same municipality, intended for hybridization with the existing 46.2 MW solar PV plants of the same names. All the aforementioned projects include transmission facilities.

Iberdrola's "BESS Hibridación PE Iglesias" storage module (30.3 MW) in the province of Burgos has obtained prior administrative authorization and construction administrative authorization. The project will be hybridized with the 70.4 MW Iglesias wind farm and includes associated transmission facilities.

Statkraft's "Talayuela II BESS" storage module, located in Talayuela, province of Cáceres, with an installed capacity of 22.26 MW, will form a 66.81 MW hybrid facility with the existing 44.55 MW "PSFV Talayuela II" solar PV plant. The project and part of its transmission facilities have obtained prior administrative authorization and construction administrative authorization.

Ignis has submitted prior administrative authorization applications for two projects: "MGE Almacenamiento Mulhacén" (21.6 MW) in the municipality of Esquivias, province of Toledo, intended for hybridization with the 70 MW Mulhacén Solar solar PV plant; and "Bess Azor Solar 1" (23.898 MW) and "Bess Azor Solar 2" (44.614 MW) in the Community of Madrid, intended for hybridization with the 64.02 MW Azor Solar solar PV plant.

Enel Green's "BESS Mudéjar" battery storage module (41.58 MW) and its transmission facilities have obtained prior administrative authorization, and will be used for hybridization with the 66 MW Mudéjar-Millán Hernández Bonaga solar PV plant. In the same period, the prior administrative authorization application for the "San Jorge" wind module (75 MW) in the municipalities of Andorra and Albalate del Arzobispo, province of Teruel, was rejected.

X-Elio has submitted prior administrative authorization and construction administrative authorization applications for the "La Atalaya" battery storage technology project (83.709 MW) in the municipality of Villena, province of Alicante. The project will be accompanied by the 96.884 MW CSF La Atalaya solar PV plant and includes associated transmission facilities.

Sonnedix has submitted prior administrative authorization, construction administrative authorization, and simplified environmental impact assessment applications for the "BESS Los Frailes" storage module (40 MW) in the municipality of Badajoz, province of Badajoz. The project is intended for hybridization with the 40.25 MW PFV Los Frailes solar PV plant and includes associated transmission facilities.

Opdenergy has submitted prior administrative authorization and construction administrative authorization applications for the "OPDE Miramundo" storage module (24.04 MW) in the municipality of Puerto Real, province of Cádiz. The project is intended for hybridization with the existing 49.99 MW Miramundo solar PV plant and includes associated transmission facilities.

The aforementioned Official State Gazette announcements were all published under the name of the original project promoters; the relevant projects may have been sold or transferred in subsequent stages.
