China Petroleum's First Industrial Solution-Process POE Unit Extruder-Pelletizer Line Succeeds in Initial Commissioning

en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 27, the extruder-pelletizer line of the Blue Ocean New Materials octene production line, part of China Petroleum's first industrial solution-process POE (polyolefin elastomer) unit, successfully completed its initial commissioning in one attempt.

It is understood that this extruder-pelletizer line was supplied by Jiangsu Yuesheng Technology Co., Ltd. As the key complete set of equipment for the entire POE unit, the line undertakes critical processes such as POE cement feeding, mixing, extrusion, pelletizing, pellet cooling, and drying and screening. During the commissioning, all processes of the line operated smoothly, and under 100% load conditions, all operating parameters met design standards, with qualified POE pellets successfully produced, marking the completion of the key processes across the entire POE workflow for the project.

POE is an important grade of high-end polyolefin materials. Leveraging its excellent elasticity, weather resistance, and processing performance, it is widely used in photovoltaic encapsulation films, automotive, cables, and high-performance modified materials, among other fields. As domestic POE industrialization continues to advance, the localization of core processes and key equipment has become a key focus of industry attention.

In the industrial solution-process POE production, the extruder-pelletizer line serves as a critical link connecting the polymerization process and the final product. In particular, in areas such as high-viscosity material handling, volatile component removal, stable conveying, and continuous pelletizing, high demands are placed on the system integration capability, stability, and continuous operation capability of the equipment.

In recent years, Yuesheng Technology has continuously carried out research and development and engineering applications in technical areas such as high-end polyolefins, large-scale extruder-pelletizers, devolatilization, and reactive extrusion, successfully developing domestically produced high-end extrusion equipment. Previously, Yuesheng Technology had participated in the relevant project of Sinopec's first industrial POE unit and supplied key extrusion equipment.
