China's CR450 Mock Driver's Cabin Debuts at InnoTrans in Berlin, Germany
en.Wedoany.com Reported - From September 22 to 25, the 15th International Trade Fair for Transport Technology (InnoTrans 2026) was held in Berlin. China State Railway Group set up a China Railway exhibition area of more than 500 square meters and displayed a mock driver's cabin of the CR450 Fuxing EMU, where visitors can experience the operating scenarios of the CR450 EMU through the simulated driving system. The China Railway exhibition area also featured special zones including "AI + Railway," railway equipment model displays, and railway culture interactive activities.

The CR450 EMU simulated driving experience is one of the four special exhibition zones at this China Railway exhibition. With the theme of "Smart Future, Better Together," the entire exhibition area also features six thematic zones: Connectivity and Integration, Transport and Service, Innovation and Drive, Green and Sustainability, Safety and Security, and Responsibility and Commitment. Through physical objects, sandbox models, interactive touch screens, and other means, it showcases railway equipment and technological achievements.
During the same period, the China Academy of Railway Sciences Corporation exhibited a CR450 EMU model, a "Doctor Yellow" high-speed comprehensive inspection train model, a railway green energy demonstration sandbox, as well as equipment such as intelligent inspection and maintenance robots for unmanned equipment rooms and platform inspection robots. Its subsidiary Zongheng Company also launched the Fully Electric Drive Integrated System (FEDIS) at the exhibition, a product aimed at electrification and intelligent applications for rail transit vehicles.
InnoTrans 2026 listed artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation as key display directions. According to organizer data, this year's exhibition featured a total of 180 global premieres, with AI and robotics products exhibited in the fields of railway vehicles, infrastructure, and maintenance; the outdoor track display area showcased 113 rail vehicles from 17 countries.
InnoTrans was founded in 1996 and is held every two years. This year marks the 15th edition, with an exhibition area of approximately 200,000 square meters, covering all 42 halls of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. At the opening, the organizer announced that a total of 3,170 companies from 59 countries were exhibiting; preliminary statistics after the exhibition updated this to 3,190 exhibitors, with approximately 175,000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries and regions.
