Malaysia Yingde Gas 300-ton liquid air separation unit officially commissioned

en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, the liquid air separation unit of NovaAir, a Malaysian subsidiary of China Yingde Gas Group, located in the UMW High Value-Added Manufacturing Park in Selangor State, was officially commissioned, with a designed capacity of 300 tons per day. The unit was put into operation on August 15 and can produce liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and liquid argon, and has high-purity oxygen production capability. Its products are supplied to local chemical, electronics and electrical, steel smelting, food processing, and new energy lithium battery manufacturing enterprises.

The air separation unit adopts air separation technology independently developed and manufactured by Yingde Engineering under Yingde Gas, and is equipped with an artificial intelligence control system to optimize the unit's operating energy consumption. The project is also equipped with professional hazardous chemicals transport tankers that comply with Euro V emission standards. The vehicles are equipped with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, and an intelligent fleet management system, and are responsible for liquid industrial gas distribution operations.

NovaAir plans to increase the capacity utilization rate of the Kuala Lumpur air separation unit to more than 90% within the next two years. Yingde Gas is currently also operating three on-site air separation units, each with a single-unit gas supply capacity of 20,000 standard cubic meters per hour, for Alliance Steel Malaysia in the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park, supplying oxygen, nitrogen, and argon to steel production facilities. The company plans to continue expanding investment in Malaysia over the next 3 to 5 years and, based on its local overseas regional headquarters, expand into the markets of Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
