en.Wedoany.com Reported - On October 26, Egyptian real estate developer Grova Developments awarded the Phase II construction of the Grova EastHills residential community in eastern Cairo to Hassan Allam Construction, with the new construction contract valued at USD 500 million. The expansion covers approximately 334 feddans and includes new villa residences, a residents' clubhouse, and commercial supporting facilities. With the Phase II contract confirmed, the contractor's cumulative contract value on this residential development project exceeds USD 1 billion.

Phase II will add villa products of varying sizes and layouts and expand the main clubhouse of the residential community. The clubhouse will serve community residents, and the new commercial facilities will provide space for daily retail and lifestyle services. The community's original master plan also includes dining, high-end retail, and office facilities; this expansion will add residential product types and community supporting buildings.

Grova EastHills is located in the New Cairo area of Egypt and is jointly developed by Grova Developments and Hassan Allam Properties. Phase I covers 305 feddans, and Hassan Allam Construction was awarded a USD 550 million turnkey construction contract in October 2025, responsible for the design and construction of standalone villas, twin villas, townhouses, commercial and office buildings, infrastructure, and landscaping works.

Phase I entered the construction stage in June 2026. The residential community master plan includes seven distinct clusters, with landscaping and open spaces accounting for 45% of the area. Grova Developments subsequently completed sales of Phase I residences and incorporated Phase II construction into Hassan Allam Construction's scope of work.
