GACA Grants Ground-Handling License to Jetex

Wedoany.com Report-Dec.19, Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and Red Sea International Airport (RSI) have granted Jetex a license to offer ground handling and business aviation support services at RSI.

This authorization allows Jetex to provide its comprehensive range of private aviation services at the airport, improving service quality, operational performance, and the travel experience for premium and business aviation passengers.

The decision highlights the increasing activity in general aviation within the Kingdom. Recent regulatory measures have facilitated the participation of several international private aviation providers, reinforcing Saudi Arabia's expanding presence in the business and private aviation sector. The partnership demonstrates GACA's commitment to supporting qualified global operators while maintaining elevated standards of safety, quality, and compliance, in alignment with national aviation development objectives.

Awad Alsulami, Executive Vice President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), said: "The issuance of this license reflects the continued growth of general aviation at Red Sea International Airport and its expanding role in supporting premium tourism at The Red Sea destination. By enabling high-quality ground handling services at this airport, GACA is strengthening private aviation infrastructure to meet rising demand and to support Saudi Arabia's emerging luxury destinations in line with Vision 2030."
