Wedoany.com Report-Dec.31, According to reports, Saudi Red Sea International announced that it has signed a contract worth 203 million Saudi Riyals (approximately 54 million US dollars) with the renowned Italian construction company Webuild. The agreement is to jointly advance the construction of the Trojena mountain resort and to deeply participate in the urban construction work of Saudi Arabia's Neom mega-project.
According to the agreement, Webuild will provide integrated facility management services for the main and temporary camps of the Trojena Dam project within two years, covering operations and maintenance. As a leading enterprise in Italy's construction industry, Webuild has been deeply involved in the Saudi market since the 1960s. Currently, Webuild is responsible for constructing the three-dam system at Trojena, which will supply water to an artificial lake. Simultaneously, it is building the iconic "Bow" structure—a cantilevered building that integrates a luxury hotel, residential units, and hospitality facilities.
Furthermore, Webuild is also involved in Neom's "Connector" high-speed rail project, undertaking the construction of a 57-kilometer section. This line will connect the two core areas, Oxagon and The Line, serving as a vital urban construction artery that links Neom's various functional zones and promotes regional coordinated development.
