Wedoany.com Report on Feb 9th, In November, the decline in textile and apparel exports narrowed compared to the previous month, with textile exports returning to growth and the decline in apparel exports narrowing. According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, in U.S. dollar terms, textile and apparel exports amounted to $23.87 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 5.1%, with the decline narrowing by 7 percentage points from the previous month. Among these, apparel exports for the month were $11.59 billion, down 10.9%, with the decline narrowing by 5 percentage points from the previous month. Textile exports were $12.28 billion, achieving a 1% growth despite the high base from the same period last year. From January to November, cumulative textile and apparel exports reached $267.79 billion, a slight year-on-year decrease of 1.9%, indicating a relatively stable overall performance.
Textile and Apparel Exports in RMB Terms:
From January to November 2025, cumulative textile and apparel exports amounted to 1,918.59 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.2% compared to the same period last year (hereinafter the same). Among these, textile exports were 931.33 billion yuan, an increase of 1.7%, while apparel exports were 987.26 billion yuan, a decrease of 3.7%.
In November, textile and apparel exports were 169.46 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.6% but a month-on-month increase of 7.1%. Among these, textile exports were 87.15 billion yuan, down 0.5% year-on-year but up 8.9% month-on-month. Apparel exports were 82.31 billion yuan, down 12.2% year-on-year but up 5.2% month-on-month.

Textile and Apparel Exports in U.S. Dollar Terms:
From January to November 2025, cumulative textile and apparel exports amounted to $267.79 billion, a decrease of 1.9%. Among these, textile exports were $130.01 billion, an increase of 0.9%, while apparel exports were $137.79 billion, a decrease of 4.4%.
In November, textile and apparel exports were $23.87 billion, a decrease of 5.1% year-on-year but an increase of 7.2% month-on-month. Among these, textile exports were $12.28 billion, an increase of 1% year-on-year and 9% month-on-month. Apparel exports were $11.59 billion, a decrease of 10.9% year-on-year but an increase of 5.4% month-on-month.
