China Eastern Airlines Increases Frequency on Altay-Xi'an Route

Wedoany.com Report on Feb 10th, To better serve travel demand during the Spring Festival travel rush and the peak season for ice and snow tourism, and to further smooth the air corridor between Altay and the northwestern hub, China Eastern Airlines announced that starting from February 13, 2026, it will increase the frequency of round-trip flights between Altay Snow Capital Airport and Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, providing passengers with more frequent and convenient travel options.

This route frequency increase will be operated by Airbus A320 series aircraft. The specific flight schedule is: Outbound flight MU6287 departs from Xi'an at 06:45 and arrives in Altay at 10:25; return flight MU6288 departs from Altay at 11:10 and arrives in Xi'an at 14:20. After the route frequency increase, it will effectively enhance flight frequency and capacity between the two locations, better meeting diverse travel needs such as business trips, ice and snow tourism, and visiting family, making it more convenient for Chinese passengers to transfer via the Xi'an hub to Altay to experience winter tourism.
