Torr Metals (TSXV: TMET) has announced progress from its inaugural drilling program at the Kolos Copper-Gold Project in south-central British Columbia. Malcolm Dorsey, President and CEO of the company, stated, "Drilling results confirm we are on the edge of a large mineralizing system." The program initially completed 2,700 meters of drilling, aimed at assessing the copper-gold mineralization potential of the area.
The Kolos Copper-Gold Project, located in south-central British Columbia, has garnered attention for its rich mineral resource potential. Torr Metals' drilling efforts have focused on exploring for supergene copper mineralization. Through the collection of geological data and analysis of core samples, preliminary results indicate promising signs of mineralization. This data aids in further understanding the mineralizing structures and resource distribution in the region.
Malcolm Dorsey added, "The success of the drilling program provides us with crucial information to support future expanded exploration activities. We are planning additional drilling to comprehensively evaluate the resource scale of the Kolos Project." The company stated that it will optimize subsequent exploration strategies based on the existing results, with the goal of discovering more copper-gold deposits in the area.
