POSCO Reports 2025 Revenue of 167.7 Billion Yuan, Profit of 5.475 Billion Yuan!

Wedoany.com Report on Feb 24th, data released by South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service shows that POSCO achieved operating revenue of 35.011 trillion won (approximately 167.7 billion yuan) in 2025, a year-on-year decrease of 6.8%; Hyundai Steel's operating revenue was 22.7332 trillion won, a year-on-year decrease of 2.1%.

Although the revenue scale of both companies contracted, they both achieved year-on-year growth in operating profit by strengthening internal management. POSCO's operating profit in 2025 reached 1.78 trillion won, a year-on-year increase of 20.8%; net profit was 1.143 trillion won (approximately 5.475 billion yuan), a year-on-year increase of 26.7%. Hyundai Steel's operating profit in 2025 increased by 37.4% year-on-year to 219.2 billion won.

Dongkuk Steel Mill and SeAH Steel face greater operational pressure, with both operating revenue and operating profit declining. Dongkuk Steel Mill's operating revenue in 2025 was 3.2034 trillion won, a year-on-year decrease of 9.2%; operating profit was only 59.4 billion won, a sharp year-on-year decrease of 42.1%. SeAH Steel's operating revenue in 2025 was 1.4848 trillion won, a year-on-year decrease of 17.9%; operating profit was 49.6 billion won, a significant year-on-year decline of 75.6%.
