Project Overview:

This project is a typical overall solution for petrochemical water systems. In this project, the water treatment units include industrial water, demineralized water, condensate, saline wastewater, oily wastewater, reclaimed water, and other treatment units. It serves as a demonstration project for Poten Enviro's overall water system solution in the petrochemical industry's PX projects.

Process Overview:

Water Supply: Coagulation sedimentation + V-type filter

Demineralized Water: Multi-media filtration + Cation bed + Anion bed + Mixed bed  

Condensate: Oil removal + Iron removal + Mixed bed

Oily Wastewater: Oil separation + Secondary air flotation + Aerobic aeration + BAF + Sand filtration + Activated carbon filtration

Saline Wastewater: Oil separation + Secondary air flotation + Aerobic aeration + BAF

Reclaimed Water: Pretreatment + UF + RO

Project Scale:

Water Supply: 5800m³/h

Demineralized Water: 3000m³/h

Condensate: 600m³/h

Oily Wastewater: 350m³/h

Saline Wastewater: 250m³/h

Reclaimed Water: 250m³/h

Project Highlights:

The air flotation device can effectively remove fine suspended solids, colloidal substances, and oil through chemical dosing air flotation, while also removing part of BOD5 and COD.

The process combination of aerobic aeration + BAF efficiently removes high COD and high ammonia nitrogen from oily and saline wastewater.

BAF, as a secondary biological treatment process, features high volumetric loading, strong resistance to shock loads, good treatment effects, and excellent removal of carbon source pollutants and nitrogen source pollutants. Therefore, it has advantages such as small footprint, low civil construction costs, low operating costs, simple management, and high degree of automation.
