The European electric hoist (wire rope type) adopts a C-type parallel modular structure, with the motor, gearbox, and drum arranged side by side. Its key features include low headroom, light deadweight, low wheel load, standard variable frequency drive, low operational impact, and high positioning accuracy, making it suitable for workshops with limited height, precision assembly and finishing, and frequent start-stop applications.
Main Components of the Complete Unit
- Lifting Module (Integrated Three-in-One Drive): Lifting motor, disc brake, and hardened gear surface reducer integrated into one unit; most models come standard with dual braking for high safety redundancy.
- Drum and Wire Rope System: Large-diameter drum, high-strength wire rope, and nylon wear-resistant rope guide ensure neat rope spooling and extend wire rope service life.
- Trolley: Motorized trolley with variable frequency three-in-one travel mechanism, available in standard headroom, low headroom, and ultra-low headroom types; the low-headroom hook can be positioned as close as possible to the lower flange of the main beam, maximizing the usable workshop height.
- Electrical Control System: Full-unit variable frequency speed control (dual VFD for lifting and travel), aviation quick-connect connectors; supports pendant control, wireless remote control, and cabin operation.
- Safety Components: Overload limiter, upper and lower lifting limit switches, buffers, hook latch, etc.
Main Types
- Trolley Type: Equipped with a motorized trolley, suspended from an I-beam / box-type main beam, used for LDC single-girder, LH double-girder, and MH gantry cranes;
- Fixed Type: Without a trolley, directly fixed, used for jib cranes and fixed lifting stations;
- Low Headroom Type: The most commonly used in the industry; compared to CD/MD hoists, headroom is reduced by 200-400mm, allowing greater lifting height in the same workshop.
