The tire-type beam lifting gantry, also known as the tire-type beam transporter, features a gantry frame structure with multiple sets of heavy-duty rubber-tire traveling bogies at the base of its legs. Powered by an onboard diesel generator set, it utilizes full hydraulic drive for traveling, steering, and lifting. It can move straight, traverse laterally, crab-walk diagonally, and rotate in place, making it suitable for hardened precast beam yard surfaces without being restricted by rails.
Five Major Components of the Machine
- Metal Gantry Frame Structure: Twin box-type main beams + four box-type legs, made of Q355B high-strength steel, with modular bolted and pinned assembly for easy disassembly, transport, and relocation; large clearance under the legs allows beam transport vehicles to drive directly into the gantry for loading.
- Tire-Type Traveling Bogies: Multiple sets of heavy-duty rubber tires with hydraulic suspension and three-point leveling, automatically equalizing loads on slightly uneven ground; full hydraulic multi-mode steering (straight, lateral, crab, and pivot rotation).
- Lifting Mechanism: Dual-winch lifting trolley equipped with a dedicated box girder spreader, featuring four-point lifting with three-point leveling to protect concrete box girders; the trolley offers longitudinal and transverse fine adjustment for precise beam alignment and loading.
- Power and Hydraulic System: Diesel generator set with closed-loop hydrostatic drive; includes traveling, steering, suspension, and auxiliary support cylinders, all with pressure overload protection.
- Electrical Control System: PLC programmable control with dual operation via cab and remote control; real-time monitoring of machine attitude, inclination, pressure, and wind speed.
