Product Introduction

RVS Copper Conductor PVC Insulated Twisted Flexible Connection Wire · Product Introduction

RVS is a commonly used copper conductor PVC insulated twisted flexible connection wire, commonly known as "twisted wire", "paired wire", or "fire alarm wire". The model designation clearly indicates its meaning: R = flexible cable (stranded flexible conductor); V = PVC insulation; S = twisted pair. RVS is formed by twisting together two PVC insulated cores, each made of multiple strands of fine copper wire, without an outer sheath. It is a flexible connection wire for indoor fixed installation, widely used in low-voltage applications such as fire alarm systems, voice communication, and broadcast audio.

Executive Standards:

  • JB/T 8734.3-2016 "Polyvinyl chloride insulated cables, wires and flexible cords for rated voltages up to and including 450/750V - Part 3: Flexible cords for connection"

  • GB/T 3956-2008 "Conductors of insulated cables" (Class 5 flexible conductors)

  • CCC mandatory certification product

Rated Voltage: 300/300V (some manufacturers mark it as 300/500V)
