Frame Scaffolding
Frame scaffolding (commonly known as frame scaffold or gantry scaffold) is a standardized modular scaffolding system featuring door-shaped welded steel frames as its main body. Due to its simple structure and extremely fast assembly and disassembly, it is one of the most fundamental and widely used products in construction, interior and exterior renovation, equipment installation, and temporary staging projects both domestically and internationally.
Product Structure Components
-
Main Frame (Frame Unit): The load-bearing core, welded from two side upright tubes, a top crossbeam, and reinforced bent tubes.
-
Cross Brace (Diagonal Brace): X-shaped cross connecting rods on both sides, used to lock the front and rear main frames together, providing longitudinal geometric stability.
-
Horizontal Platform / Scaffold Board: Steel or aluminum tread boards hooked onto the frame crossbeams, forming a flat and safe working walkway.
-
Connecting Pins and Locking Pins: Positioning connectors for vertical stacking of upper and lower frames, equipped with self-locking pins to prevent disengagement during multi-level assembly.
-
Adjustable Base / Swivel Caster: Optional bottom components; adjustable bases for fixed assembly, and swivel casters with brakes for mobile platforms.
Product Core Advantages
| Advantage Dimension | Detailed Description |
| Ultimate Efficiency | Few structural components and no complex couplers required; two workers can quickly complete frame assembly, offering extremely high erection and dismantling efficiency. |
| Flexibility and Mobility | With swivel casters installed at the base, it instantly transforms into a "mobile working platform," ideal for indoor MEP installation and wall finishing. |
| Standardized and Universal | Component dimensions are highly standardized with strong interchangeability of accessories, facilitating transportation, stacking, and warehouse inventory. |
| Cost-Effective | Lower procurement and rental costs, offering exceptional value for money in small to medium-sized projects and indoor elevated operations. |
Common Type Classification
-
Standard Frame: Features no intermediate crossbar or includes a passage opening in the middle, allowing workers to move through the frame interior with ease.
-
Ladder Frame: Integrates ladder rungs on one side of the upright, enabling workers to climb up and down directly without the need for additional ladders.
-
Mobile Low-Level Frame: A lightweight and compact frame scaffold, specifically designed for low-height tasks such as indoor painting, ceiling work, and maintenance.
