LQ-TBEC is a Class D liquid organic peroxide, classified as: 5.2, UN number: 3105, Class II dangerous goods packaging.

Safety Precautions:

(1) Keep away from fire, open flames, and heat sources.

(2) Avoid contact with reducing agents (such as amines), acids, bases, and heavy metal compounds (such as accelerators, metal soaps, etc.).

(3) Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product.

Applications:

(1) Polymerization of styrene:

LQ-TBEC can be used in the polymerization of styrene and styrene copolymers, with a polymerization temperature range of 100-130°C. In bulk polymerization, LQ-TBEC helps to increase the reaction rate.

In aqueous suspension polymerization processes, the use of LQ-TBEC can reduce the residual styrene monomer content in the final stage of the reaction.

(2) Polymerization of acrylates and methacrylates:

LQ-TBEC can be used in the polymerization of acrylates or methacrylates, with a polymerization temperature range of 100-170°C.

(3) Curing of thermosetting resins:

LQ-TBEC can be used for the curing of aliphatic unsaturated polyester resins at high temperatures.

LQ-TBEC is the preferred curing agent for the hot compression molding process of UP resins (SMC, BMC, ZMC, etc.), with a temperature range of 120-170°C. The products exhibit good tolerance, and the agent is safe and environmentally friendly.

Storage Conditions:

Keep the packaging tightly sealed and in a well-ventilated area. The maximum storage temperature is 25°C. Avoid contact with reducing agents such as amines, acids, bases, and heavy metal compounds (accelerators and metal soaps). Repackaging and dispensing in the warehouse are strictly prohibited.

Storage Stability:

When stored under the conditions recommended by the manufacturer, the product quality is guaranteed to meet the technical specifications at the time of factory delivery within three months.

Fire Fighting:

For small fires, use dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, while spraying with large amounts of water to prevent re-ignition. For large fires, spray with large amounts of water from a safe distance.
