LQ-K is a Class D liquid organic peroxide, cargo classification: 5.2, UN number: 3115, transported under temperature control, Packing Group II dangerous goods. Rail and air transport are prohibited.
Safety Precautions:
(1) Keep away from fire, open flames, and heat sources.
(2) Avoid contact with reducing agents (such as amines), acids, bases, and heavy metal compounds (such as accelerators, metal soaps, etc.).
(3) Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for this product.
Applications:
1. Initiator for ethylene polymerization
LQ-K is one of the most commonly used polymerization initiators for LDPE in tubular or autoclave processes. To achieve a broader polymerization temperature range, it is often used in combination with other initiators, with a polymerization temperature of 150-190°C.
2. Initiator for vinyl chloride polymerization
LQ-K is also an initiator for vinyl chloride polymerization via the aqueous suspension method, with an initiation temperature of 50-70°C.
Storage Conditions:
Keep the packaging tightly sealed and in a well-ventilated area. The maximum storage temperature is 0°C. Avoid contact with reducing agents such as amines, acids, bases, and heavy metal compounds (accelerators and metal soaps). Repackaging and dispensing in the warehouse are strictly prohibited.
Storage Stability:
When stored under the conditions recommended by the manufacturer, the product is guaranteed to meet the factory technical specifications within three months.
Fire Fighting:
For small fires, use dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, while spraying with large amounts of water to prevent re-ignition. For large fires, spray with large amounts of water from a safe distance.
