When the feed gas passes through the catalyst, chlorine impurities in the gas react with hydrogen to form water, achieving dechlorination. It is mainly used for chlorine removal from coke oven gas, blast furnace gas, converter gas, and various hydrogen-containing gases, and is also used for hydrogenation deoxygenation of inert gases such as nitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen.
According to different feed gas compositions and product requirements, our company provides different precious metal catalysts.
The H₂O generated after dechlorination can be removed by temperature swing adsorption.
