Light-Duty Slurry Pump (NZJL)

1. Product Overview

The NZJL series slurry pump is a light-duty slurry pump and also belongs to the category of horizontal centrifugal pumps. It adopts a double-casing structure, where the inner casing serves as the wear part in the flow path and requires periodic replacement. Depending on the operating conditions, high-chromium metal or rubber materials can be selected. Compared with heavy-duty slurry pumps, this series is lighter in weight for the same discharge size and offers higher hydraulic efficiency, resulting in lower overall operating costs. It is highly economical for applications involving low-to-medium wear conditions, but is not suitable for heavy or extra-heavy wear applications.

2. Product Features

1) The impeller typically adopts a 5-blade design with relatively thin blades, resulting in a relatively high specific speed and high pump efficiency;

2) Wear parts in the flow path can be used in combinations of high-chromium and rubber materials according to operating conditions, offering flexible and diverse options;

3) The horizontal double-casing design makes on-site installation and maintenance relatively more convenient;

4) The bearing assembly adopts a heavy-duty bearing design with grease lubrication, requiring no external oil station;

5) Various shaft seal types are available, including packing seal, expeller seal, and mechanical seal. The three seal types are interchangeable without the need to replace other components;

6) An adjustable assembly is designed for the gap between the impeller and the liner plates, allowing convenient gap adjustment during routine shutdown maintenance;

7) The connection between the pump and motor can be belt drive, coupling, or gear reducer, depending on operating conditions and site requirements;

8) Series connection is generally not recommended for this series of slurry pumps;

9) The pump outlet direction can be installed at eight angular positions to suit on-site piping installation.

3. Application Scope

1) This series of slurry pumps is a light-duty type, suitable for conveying low-concentration materials in beneficiation processes of non-ferrous and ferrous metal mines, such as flotation operations and plant return water;

2) The recommended single-stage head is below 40 m, with a maximum conveying head of up to 60 m;

3) The recommended applicable weight concentration is not higher than 30%, with a median particle size finer than -200 mesh;

4) When rubber wear parts are selected, the recommended slurry temperature should not exceed 70°C; when a rubber impeller is used, the maximum peripheral linear velocity should not exceed 28 m/s;

5) The pressure rating of the slurry pump shall not exceed 1.725 MPa.
