Product Introduction

The hydrocyclone is a common separation and classification device, widely used in closed-circuit grinding classification, open-circuit classification and other processes in the beneficiation of non-ferrous and ferrous metal mines. It improves metal recovery, increases throughput, and greatly enhances the economic benefits of beneficiation. It is particularly effective in fine-particle classification operations, and can also be used for desliming, desanding, thickening and other operations. However, with the development of beneficiation processes, the requirements for hydrocyclones are diverging toward two extremes: large diameter (high processing capacity) and small diameter (fine classification size).

Hydrocyclone selection determines classification efficiency and service life

Hydrocyclone series selection: standard type, variable cone type, long cone type.

Hydrocyclone material selection: wear-resistant rubber, polyurethane, composite materials.

Hydrocyclone structural dimensions: unit specification, apex diameter, overflow pipe diameter.

Applicable working conditions

Primary closed-circuit grinding

The hydrocyclone and the primary grinding ball mill form a closed-circuit grinding classification system, featuring a small footprint, high classification efficiency, easily adjustable return sand load, and a more reasonable overflow particle size distribution.

Secondary closed-circuit grinding or concentrate (middlings) regrinding classification

Reasonable structural design, high inner surface finish and other measures are adopted to reduce disturbances in the internal flow field of the hydrocyclone, effectively improving classification efficiency and classification precision.

Concentrate (tailings) thickening and dewatering

Hydrocyclones with small-angle cones or multi-cone structures are generally selected to obtain higher underflow concentration and underflow yield.
