- Product Overview
The NZJF is a froth slurry pump developed from the NZJAH pump through optimized design specifically for the transportation of flotation froth in flotation operations. As a result, most components of this pump are highly interchangeable with those of the NZAH pump model. To enhance froth handling capability, significant improvements have been made to the impeller and front liner plate, giving it a distinct advantage over conventional horizontal slurry pumps in transporting froth-containing pulp. This series is designed to address the long-standing challenge of froth pulp transportation in the mineral processing industry.
- Product Features
1) An oversized suction inlet enhances the suction capacity of the slurry pump, reduces the possibility of inlet blockage caused by large amounts of froth, and strengthens the froth handling capability of this slurry pump series;
2) Compared with vertical froth pumps, it occupies a smaller footprint and allows for more compact equipment layout. Additionally, adopting a horizontal pump structure inherits the advantages of simple installation and maintenance characteristic of horizontal double-casing pumps;
3) The impeller features a semi-open design, and large-diameter impellers use long and short blades to improve cavitation resistance;
4) Wetted parts can be used in combinations of high-chromium and rubber materials according to operating conditions, offering flexibility and versatility;
5) Multiple shaft seal options are available: packing seal, expeller seal, and mechanical seal. The three seal types are interchangeable without the need to replace other components;
6) An adjustable assembly is designed for the clearance between the impeller and the liner plate, allowing convenient clearance adjustment during routine shutdown maintenance;
7) The connection between the pump and motor can be belt drive, coupling, or gear reducer, depending on operating conditions and site requirements;
8) This slurry pump series is generally not recommended for series operation;
9) The pump outlet direction can be installed at eight angular positions to suit on-site piping installation.
- Application Scope
1) This slurry pump series is a froth slurry pump with strong suction capacity, suitable for transporting froth pulp in ferrous and non-ferrous metal mining and mineral processing industries, as well as for transporting high-density pulp from the underflow of high-efficiency thickeners;
2) Recommended single-stage head is below 40 m;
3) The froth volume factor can reach 3.0;
4) Maximum applicable ore weight concentration is below 65%;
5) When rubber wetted parts are selected, the recommended slurry temperature should not exceed 70°C;
6) The pressure rating of rubber slurry pumps does not exceed 1.4 MPa, and that of metal pumps does not exceed 2.1 MPa;
7) For single-stage use only.
- Specifications and Flow Range
The table below shows the best efficiency points of the NZJF series slurry pumps at corresponding speeds. In actual application, the operating range of each size can be adjusted by varying the slurry pump speed. Please contact us for model selection.
