For environmental reasons the machine is designed for dry operation, therefore an exhaust system with filter has been incorporated into the design. It is also possible to purchase the machine type EM-3W which is a machine that not only deburrs but also washes the part. A standard 220 Volt electrical outlet and a 6 bar (87 psi) air supply are all that is needed for the operation of the EM-3. After programming the RPM and the number of revolutions you put the gear in place shut the safety door and the deburring cycle starts automatically. The gears are clamped with a specially designed 3 jaw chuck which can clamp both internal and external gears and withstand the dirty work environment. Up to three grinding or brushing tools may be used to deburr gears of up to 400 mm (15,8") in diameter. The fully graphic-based Siemens OP77 display represents processes as a bar diagram. The 4.5"-size display allows clear and easy readings. Data input is done via a dirt-resistant membrane-sealed keypad. Georg Kesel GmbH & Co. KG is a leading manufacturer of rack milling machines.
