Grupa Azoty recently launched the new nitrogen-sulfur fertilizer DuoS in Poland, enriching its product portfolio and continuing to position fertilizers as a core pillar of the company's business. This move aims to strengthen the company's operational stability and competitive scale in the European market, while supporting agricultural production in Poland and its neighboring countries.

DuoS combines nitrogen, sulfur, and calcium in a single formulation, aiming to address issues of nutrient loss through leaching and the instability of certain nitrogen and sulfur forms. This sulfur-based fertilizer contains two types of nitrogen—nitrate and ammonium—and two sulfur sources—ammonium sulfate and anhydrite. The addition of calcium helps enhance crop stress resistance and improve yield quality.

The product's sulfur release characteristics are designed to ensure effectiveness both early in the crop growth cycle and later in the season. The nitrogen-to-sulfur ratio is adjusted to better match crop uptake patterns, reducing the risk of overstimulation during sensitive periods such as early spring and late autumn.

This launch is part of Grupa Azoty's broader plan to expand the range of the Group's specialized fertilizers in the current season, further consolidating its position in the European agricultural market.
