Wedoany.com Report, On March 11, Fan Zhichao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China National Machinery Industry Group (Sinomach), visited CAM, a subsidiary of the group, for an investigation and research. Xue Jilin, Vice President of the Machinery Planning and Research Institute, accompanied the visit. Gu Xiaoshan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CAM, delivered a work report. Li Hang, General Manager of CAM, and other management team members attended the research symposium.
Gu Xiaoshan provided a systematic report on the basic situation, characteristic and advantageous businesses, and brand projects of CAM. He also introduced the company's performance during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and its development ideas for the 16th Five-Year Plan period. He stated that CAM will implement all work deployments of the group, lay a solid foundation for a high-start beginning of the company's 16th Five-Year Plan, and contribute to the group's development.
Fan Zhichao affirmed the achievements made by CAM in areas such as technological accumulation, talent development, and intelligent manufacturing. He pointed out that CAM should adhere to a problem-oriented approach, set higher goals, continuously exert efforts in improving quality and efficiency as well as innovation-driven development, and constantly enhance its core competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities. Regarding the next steps, Fan Zhichao put forward four requirements: First, closely follow the national strategy, align with the direction of the national 16th Five-Year Plan, focus on strategic emerging industries and future industries, and make good preparations in technology reserves and model innovation. Second, strengthen technological innovation, cultivate and consolidate "root technologies," substantiate R&D in key technological fields, and enhance research on common technologies. Third, deepen internal synergy to promote the deep integration of technology, equipment, and engineering construction. Fourth, fortify the risk control line, strengthening risk prediction and process management in line with the characteristics of EPC business.
During the investigation, Fan Zhichao visited the CAM exhibition hall, the GBIM laboratory, and the smart park operation center to understand the company's basic situation and related work concerning the 16th Five-Year Plan. Key principals from the group's office and relevant departments of CAM attended the meeting.
