en.Wedoany.com Reported - Jiuzhou Yigui announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Suzhou Jingxi Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., plans to invest in the construction of an advanced semiconductor wafer laser stealth dicing industrialization project, with a total estimated investment not exceeding 630 million yuan, of which the amount for equipment procurement shall not exceed 600 million yuan. The project is scheduled to complete production line construction and gradually commence operations in the first quarter of 2027, primarily dicing and processing 8-inch and 12-inch silicon photonic chips and silicon dummy wafers, with downstream customers including optical module manufacturers and chip makers.
According to the announcement, the project will adopt a factory leasing approach, focusing on the development of high-end laser stealth dicing technology as the core by renovating the leased factory with cleanrooms and supporting facilities, and concentrating on advanced semiconductor precision processing services. Upon full completion, the project will provide full-process precision processing solutions including high-precision wafer stealth dicing, wafer thinning, and chip sorting and inspection. Jingxi Semiconductor, established in July 2022, focuses on advanced laser stealth dicing processing services, offering businesses such as high-precision semiconductor wafer stealth dicing, grooving, and sorting.
Jiuzhou Yigui stated that the AI computing power and high-speed optical communication industry is currently in a period of rapid development, and silicon photonic wafer precision processing, as an upstream segment, faces steadily expanding market demand. Leveraging a yield rate of 99.8% and its rare domestic mass production capability for silicon photonic wafer laser stealth dicing, Jingxi Semiconductor has established dual barriers in technology and customer relationships. However, its existing production capacity is insufficient to support order fulfillment. After the project is implemented, large-scale, standardized production lines can meet customers' batch, stable, and continuous processing requirements, fostering long-term cooperation with core customers.
Jiuzhou Yigui noted that after project implementation, it can rely on Jingxi Semiconductor's precision processing capabilities to promote customized development and performance iteration of core devices, providing a process foundation for the full-chain optimization of voiceprint digital monitoring systems from underlying hardware to upper-layer applications. This will further solidify its layout in the integration of artificial intelligence and high-end equipment manufacturing, enhancing the autonomous controllability of its core supply chain. After implementation, the project will effectively optimize the company's revenue structure, improving overall operational stability and risk resilience. The company will also explore synergies by leveraging Jingxi Semiconductor's precision processing capabilities in conjunction with R&D needs in rail transit and voiceprint digital monitoring businesses.
