en.Wedoany.com Reported - UNI-T has launched the USG5000V series of RF vector signal generators, covering frequency ranges from 9 kHz to 14 GHz and 9 kHz to 22 GHz, designed for RF, microwave, wireless communications, aerospace, radar, and research applications. This series of signal generation instruments can generate both traditional RF signals and complex digitally modulated waveforms.

UNI-T launches vector signal generator for RF, microwave, radar, and research applications, with frequency up to 22 GHz

The USG5000V series offers a frequency resolution of 0.001 Hz and an output power range from -135 dBm to +25 dBm, supporting low-level receiver sensitivity testing and high-power RF component characterization. The signal generator features phase noise performance below -122 dBc/Hz at a 20 kHz offset for a 1 GHz carrier, helping to ensure signal purity in precise and repeatable measurement applications.

These instruments support analog modulation formats (including AM, FM, and PM), as well as digital modulation schemes (such as QAM, PSK, FSK, and ASK) via integrated IQ modulation capabilities. Built-in waveform generation and playback functions enable users to create custom test signals and modulation sequences for communication system development and validation.

The USG5000V series supports waveform file playback, waveform sequence generation, multi-tone signal generation, and IoT signal creation. When used with communication signal simulation software, the generator can produce signals compliant with wireless standards such as 5G NR, LTE, WLAN, Bluetooth, and IoT protocols, suitable for testing modern communication devices and subsystems.

For digital communication applications, the generator provides vector modulation performance with a typical QPSK error vector magnitude (EVM) of 0.4% and a typical 5G NR adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR) below -55 dBc at a 3.8 GHz carrier frequency. These capabilities support R&D and production testing of wireless communication equipment.

These instruments include a standard high-stability OCXO reference clock and a built-in 50 MHz function/arbitrary waveform generator. Optional features include pulse modulation, narrow pulse generation, power meter control, and GPIB connectivity. The narrow pulse option supports pulse widths as low as 40 ns with a resolution of 10 ns; pulse modulation provides an on-off ratio of up to 80 dB, supporting radar and electronic testing applications.

The USG5000V series features a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display and supports remote control via LAN, USB, and optional GPIB interfaces. These instruments are designed for applications such as RF and microwave research, wireless communication testing, aerospace system development, satellite communications, automotive radar development, and production line RF validation.

The USG5000V series offers multiple configurations, including USG5014V, USG5014V-P, and USG5022V-P, providing users with frequency coverage options up to 22 GHz based on application requirements.
