China's Long March 6A Successfully Launches Communication Technology Test Satellite 27A/B

en.Wedoany.com Reported - At 09:00 on July 30, the Long March 6A carrier rocket ignited and lifted off at the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, adopting a dual-satellite launch method. Subsequently, it successfully delivered the Communication Technology Test Satellite 27A/B into the predetermined orbit, marking a complete success for the launch mission.

Communication Technology Test Satellite 27A was developed under the leadership of the Fifth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, while Satellite 27B was developed under the leadership of the Eighth Academy of CASC. These satellites are primarily used for satellite communications, broadcasting, television, data transmission, and other services, as well as for conducting related technical test verifications.

The Long March 6A carrier rocket is a new-generation solid-liquid bundled medium-lift carrier rocket developed under the leadership of the Eighth Academy of CASC. It can meet diverse dense launch requirements such as single-satellite or multi-satellite series, parallel, stacking, side-mounting, and piggyback configurations, with a payload capacity of no less than 4.5 tons to a 700-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit.

This launch marks the 660th flight of the Long March series carrier rockets.
