en.Wedoany.com Report, On March 18, Irving Resources Inc. (IRV:CSE; IRVRF:OTCQX) announced exploration assay results from its Shika prospect on the Noto Peninsula in Honshu, Japan, revealing high-grade gold veins within this epithermal gold-silver prospect. Through extensive exploration activities covering multiple target areas in the Noto region, the company aims to uncover historical mineral resources similar to the nearby Sado Gold Mine.

Irving Resources' exploration team conducted comprehensive soil and rock sampling at the Shika prospect, including 81 rock chip samples and 150 soil samples. Assay results show that quartz vein float samples near the historic Unoya gold mine location contain over 1 gram per tonne gold, with four high-grade samples distributed along a strike length of approximately 1.2 kilometers. These discoveries indicate that the Unoya prospect belongs to a typical low-sulfidation epithermal vein system, which is common among Japanese gold deposits.

The company stated that soil sampling also yielded significant results, with a maximum gold concentration of 126 ppb, alongside elevated concentrations of elements such as silver, mercury, and antimony, revealing a broader geochemical halo. Irving Resources plans to continue field mapping in 2026 and conduct a drone-borne high-resolution magnetic geophysical survey to optimize exploration targets and potentially delineate new drill targets.

The Noto Project is a joint venture between Newmont Corp., Sumitomo Corporation, and Irving Resources, with current ownership interests distributed as Newmont holding 60%, Sumitomo holding 12.5%, and Irving holding 27.5%. Once the relevant prospecting licenses are obtained, Irving will become the largest license holder in the Noto region.

In the stock market, Irving Resources' share price rose 6.56% on March 18, closing at CA$0.325. Investment newsletter author Chen Lin gave a positive review of the company's drilling results at the Omu prospect in Japan, stating, "IRV.cn released extremely good news from Omu," and emphasized the strategic significance of the high-grade gold discovery. Looking ahead, the company is expected to continue advancing its exploration activities on Japan's Noto Peninsula to strengthen its position in this historic mining district.
