en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 25th, Recently, the Funeng Hongshan Thermal Power Plant Unit 2 boiler burner comprehensive performance enhancement equipment upgrade project, undertaken by Kehuan Group's Yantai Longyuan Company, achieved a successful ignition on the first attempt. The boiler is operating in good condition, with all safety, quality, and schedule targets met. This renovation involved the optimization and upgrade of a 600 MW supercritical Benson once-through boiler. The thermal power boiler model is HG-1962/25.4-YM3, featuring structural designs such as a single furnace and opposed firing on the front and rear walls.

The thermal power boiler renovation project faced challenges including a tight schedule and a wide scope of work, with construction and commissioning activities spanning the Spring Festival holiday. The project management team meticulously planned and efficiently advanced the work, completing several key tests. These included cold-state dynamic field spark tracer tests such as inter-group opposed firing and single-nozzle variable swirl tests, air flow calibration tests, and primary air balancing tests. To address issues of superheater overtemperature and low steam temperature after the thermal power boiler startup, on-site personnel successfully reduced wall temperatures and achieved the steam temperature required by the client. This was accomplished through precise air distribution, scientifically matching the inner and outer secondary air flow and swirl of the burners, and optimizing pulverized coal fineness, concentration, and hot-state primary air balancing.
The project team received high praise from the client for their professional expertise and efficient execution.
