The company, with 30 branches across the UK, manages over 1,000 excavators covering an operating weight range from 800 kg to 22 tonnes. Asset Manager Gary Gay stated: "We have around 300 Kubota machines in our fleet, including micro, 1.5-tonne, 3-tonne, 5-tonne, and 8-tonne models. Kubota is a reliable brand in the industry, offering consistent machine performance and quality support services."

All Kubota excavators are supplied by Hertfordshire-based dealer Boss Plant Sales, with whom a partnership has been established since 2020. Gay added: "Charles Wilson has a solid relationship with Boss Plant Sales. We source various equipment from them and continue to receive support for our growth."

The Kubota U50-5 excavator weighs 4,775 kg and features a zero-tail swing design, making it suitable for confined urban construction sites. It is powered by a 40.4 kW diesel engine, with a maximum digging depth of 3,370 mm and a forward reach of 5,850 mm. A full-width dozer blade enhances operational stability and machine versatility. Gay noted: "Based on its flexibility, the Kubota U50-5 performs strongly in the UK market, reflecting customer demand for efficient rental equipment."
