Böcker delivers 6-tonne/48-metre truck-mounted crane to UK's Blade

en.Wedoany.com Reported - UK rental company Blade Lifting and Logistics has recently taken delivery of a 6-tonne/48-metre Böcker AK48 truck-mounted crane, part of an order for an undisclosed number of units.

The AK 48 made its debut at Bauma 2022, featuring a four-section main boom and a three-section telescopic jib, with a maximum tip height of 49 metres and a maximum outreach of 40 metres. The model achieves its maximum lifting capacity at an outreach of 8 metres and can lift a 1.5-tonne load to a height of 27.5 metres at a corresponding outreach of 24 metres. When used as a work platform, it has a maximum load capacity of 350 kilogrammes and a working height of 48 metres.

Blade is headquartered in Bradford, West Yorkshire, and operates from 24 locations across the UK. The company is known for its fleet of truck-mounted platform rentals, ranging from 3.5-tonne 20-metre self-propelled models to 90-metre units, including the Bronto 90HLAX and Ruthmann T900HF. In addition, Blade offers spider lifts with working heights of up to 40 metres, as well as large boom and scissor lifts.
