en.Wedoany.com Report on Mar 28th, TR Group is expanding its rental fleet in Australia with the introduction of heavy-duty 6×4 steel tipper trucks, providing solutions for the civil and construction sectors in demanding environments such as building, quarrying, and infrastructure projects.

The new models are based on the UD Quon GW26460 platform and feature Hardox steel bodies manufactured by Gorski, designed to ensure durability, safety, and reliability across various operating conditions. These steel tippers are purpose-built for heavy-duty sites, featuring a 10.6 cubic metre tipping body with sides and floor reinforced to 5mm and 6mm respectively, and a heavy-duty bi-directional tailgate to handle abrasive materials like rock, aggregate, and demolition waste.
Ryan Robertson, TR Group National Rental Manager, said the introduction of the steel tippers reflects growing customer demand for reliable, specialist trucks to meet infrastructure and civil project needs. "We are seeing strong demand from contractors and civil operators for quick access to reliable, ready-to-work trucks," Robertson said. "Our new steel tippers are engineered for Australian conditions, built tough, and allow customers to flexibly scale their fleet up or down based on project or seasonal requirements."
The new tipper units are equipped with safety and operational features including lift alarms, grain locks, beacon lights, and a dual-camera system, with tipping operations controlled via an in-cab remote. The trucks also integrate a Razor electric tarp system with wireless remote and in-cab weight scales, enhancing loading and transport efficiency. Other features include trailer towing capability, Ringfeder and pintle hook towing coupling options, a Right Weigh onboard scale with Bluetooth connectivity, tarp cover, spade rack, toolbox, and access ladder.
The steel tippers are available for rental through TR Group's branch network across Australia, with rental terms ranging from short-term daily hires to long-term project contracts. Robertson noted that rental solutions are becoming increasingly popular in the construction and infrastructure sectors. "Many customers want access to high-quality equipment without tying up capital in assets that may only be needed for specific projects," he said. "Renting allows operators to respond quickly to new work while having access to TR Group's around-the-clock maintenance support and fleet expertise."
The addition of steel tippers continues TR Group's strategy of expanding specialist rental categories to support operators in the transport, logistics, construction, and infrastructure industries.
